The Ex

You may have not heard of them before, but Netherlands own The Ex,
have been operating as a band for the past 25 years. This fall, the
band is doing a series of concerts in Amsterdam, France and
Brussels to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Quite a feat
for a band who are virtually unknown here in the states, yet they are
an incredible live act. In 1999, Joel and I had the pleasure of seeing
them open up for Fugazi and we were both amazed. Their drummer,
Katherina, is one of the most intense and creative drummers I have ever
seen. The band is currently embarking on a US tour, so if you get the
